Chicago: 780 Killed Last Year, 2 Already Killed This Year

Please tell us more about how the real problem is police “genocide” and “mass incarceration.”

Citizens of the “Windy City,” would likely fare better in Afghanistan, or Iraq.

Of course, Chicago has some of the toughest anti-gun legislation on the books.

Brain dead democrat politicians can’t seem to understand that hiding under their signs just won’t protect those they promised to serve.

Two men shot to death Sunday morning in the North Side Uptown neighborhood were the first two reported homicides of 2017 in Chicago, after a bloody 2016 saw 780 homicides in the city.

Maurice Delaney, 38, of the 9000 block of Skokie Boulevard in Skokie, was shot in the chest and right leg, police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.

A second man, between the ages of 35 and 40, was shot multiple times in the right side.

His identity was not released Saturday.

Trust that your humble reporter isn’t going soft on you, but this is a serious shame, the police are not answering their calls and why should they?

They signed up to be police, not Army Rangers or Navy SEALS. 

It’s demonstrably clear, want to live in an urban war-zone?

The two men were shooting at each other about 4:25 a.m. inside of a business in the 4600 block of North Broadway, according to Chicago Police.

Last year ended with 780 homicides in the city, according to Sun-Times records.

So we’ve got two good solid citizens shooting each other to death. But remember the real problem are the police.

Arrests and stops dropped sharply in Chicago, Murders rose sharply.

Most of those dying are black.

Pro-crime policies lead to cemeteries. But the left’s solution is more of the same.

That’s what led to 780 dead. And now the first two are in.
