Unfortunately, I believe the last of the great orators of the Democratic Party ended the day President Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas.(The exception perhaps was his younger brother, Bobby, who was also murdered). It seems after his (JFK’s) death, not only did all hell break loose across this nation, but a new social and political order began in Washington DC inside the Democratic Party.
Although I was just a little girl when the Watergate Scandal broke, I often wonder what the real motivating factor behind Richard Nixon’s decision to condone the break-in at the DNC headquarters was in the first place. Was it just dirty politics as usual, or, was Nixon actually attempting to expose something far more sinister about the post-JFK Democratic Party?

Unfortunately, the Republican Party has become just as bad or worse than the Democrats. As far as We the People, neither group can no longer be trusted with protecting and defending the best interests of America. This is why, although I think Donald Trump sometimes acts like a big-mouthed, know-it-all jerk, he would still be a whole lot better for our nation than Hillary Clinton or Jeb Bush in the White House!
