Would Navy Seal Dan Crenshaw Make a Good Choice as a Republican Nominee for President?

Congressman Crenshaw clearly has the respect of those he walks among in the halls of congress, with the possible exception of the lefties who still remain clueless.

If the congressman were trapped on a little island with a naked Nancy Pelosi, was, “Swim,” that’s what we do.

The two fools above could not get starving dogs to eat fresh red meat.

Originally from the Houston area, Rep. Dan Crenshaw is a proud 6th generation Texan.

From an early age, Dan knew that he wanted to serve his country with the most elite fighting force in history: the U.S. Navy SEALs.

His father’s career in the Texas oil and gas industry moved his family all over the world, including Ecuador and Colombia, where he attended high school.

As a result, Dan is fluent in Spanish.  In 2006, Dan graduated from Tufts University, where he earned his Naval officer commission through Navy ROTC.

Following graduation, he immediately reported to SEAL training in Coronado, CA, where he met his future wife, Tara.

After graduating SEAL training, Dan deployed to Fallujah, Iraq to join SEAL Team Three, his first of five deployments overseas.

On Dan’s third deployment in 2012, his life changed forever. After six months of combat operations, he was hit by an IED blast during a mission in Helmand province, Afghanistan.

He was evacuated and awoke from his medically induced coma learning that his right eye had been destroyed in the blast and his left eye was badly damaged.

Dan was completely blind and the doctors did not believe he would ever see again.

Tara stood by him every day and night, keeping faith and praying he would see again.

After several difficult surgeries and months of fighting a tough diagnosis, Dan eventually regained sight in his left eye, a miracle according to the head surgeon.

It never hurts to have a great sense of humor which Dan Crenshaw clearly does.

Dan refused to quit and went on to deploy twice more, first back to the Middle East in 2014 and then South Korea in 2016.

Dan was medically retired in September of 2016 as a Lieutenant Commander after serving ten years in the SEAL Teams.

He left service with two Bronze Stars (one with Valor), the Purple Heart, and the Navy Commendation Medal with Valor, among others.

Soon after, Dan completed his Master’s in Public Administration at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.

Dan then returned to Houston, where his community was hit by Hurricane Harvey.

The storm brought devastation the region had never seen.

He spent his time volunteering in areas of Katy, helping his neighbors recover from the damage. He saw first-hand the unthinkable losses that Texas suffered, but he also saw Texan grit and resilience. This inspired him to do more for his community.

Dan and Tara decided that the best way to serve the people of Texas would be in elected office.

In November 2018, Dan was elected to represent the people of Texas’s Second Congressional District.

In Congress, he serves on the House Energy and Commerce Committee, which has the broadest jurisdiction of any legislative committee in Congress.

As a freshman congressman he supported believers in man made climate until he looked into it and all the facts available and changed his position.

Note, please I didn’t say science, there is no science to back up the believers claims.

Dan serves on the Health Subcommittee and the Environment and Climate Change Subcommittee. Dan also serves on the House Select Committee on the Climate Crisis.

Dan believes in service before self and understands that there is no higher calling than service to the American people.

Although he can no longer fight on the battlefield, the integrity, leadership, vision, and tenacity he learned in the SEAL teams are present every day in his fight for common sense solutions in Congress.

Obama nearly destroyed our country economically, militarily coupled with his racism he set us further on the march to becoming a Socialist State. Now it's up to President Trump to restore America to prominence. Republicans who refuse to go along with most of his agenda RINOs must be forced to walk the plank, they are RINOs and little else. No. He is a RINO. Or at the very least a bit squishy.

You would do yourself to look him up. He is as far right as a member of the Republican congress need be. Go to his home cage for congress and read all about him. Thanks, J.C.

As I said, I scan a lot of headlines, and a search for “Texas election fraud arrests” turned up a bunch that I had seen recently.

Interestingly enough, nope, that doesn’t appear to be true. I was going to say searching for fraud in Blue States wouldn’t turn up arrests. I started with California and a bunch of cases turned up.

A conservative group I am a part of was talking about “fraudit” today. I hadn’t heard that term before so I searched for it. All of the Google and even Duck Duck Go results were using the term to mean that the audit were not turning up any fraud. The way the group was using it sounded like they had turned up fraud and were producing documents showing the fraud.

I’m still holding to my “Trump isn’t running in 2024” position. I’m not sure who I would like to see run.

I’m just going to take it one election at a time for now.

Greater people than I are doing the work to bring down the regime. I’m just trying to clean up the politics in my little corner of America.

Beautifully written Bluecat, I’m in agreement with you about Trump not running again. He is already the head of the party from the side lines, I’m thinking Florida Governor Chris DeSantis will be carrying the flag. Your thoughts? Thanks J.C.

      • bluecat57 says:

Well, Crenshaw and Noem we’re looking good and now nit so much. 2023 is a long way off. Time for the rise and fall of many. Let’s focus on putting out the garbage currently burning in the DC dumpster. Hopefully in the next couple of months it will get dumped. Then we need to scourer out the inside completely.

I’m with you blue cat that way we can stay away from playing cowboys and Indians. Thanks J.C.

      • JCscuba says:

Indeed with a bit more seasoning perhaps, or what the hell, if for some odd reason the Governor of Florida doesn’t get the nod picking Noem as his V.P. could ice it for him. What say you? Thanks.

Do you believe everything you read? The Gateway Pundit is ordinarily a great source, this time they completely blew it. Taking it one election at a time makes sense. I’m a Republican in the Peoples Republik of CA. My vote never is counted anyway. Too many commies in the state. They are so ignorant a large portion of it don’t have a clue on how badily they have been manipulated.

I usually limit myself to Revolver .news and Citizens Free Press for stories. WordPress for blog posts.
I started hitting The Gateway Pundit again last Friday or so as Afghanistan was falling since Revolver and CFP don’t update “immediately”. TGP tends to post breaking news fast.
I stopped using TGP because their stories are short and lack in-depth analysis. But they are the next best thing to Twitter for breaking news. I haven’t tried any of the other social media options.
I’m maxed out with just those options. Toss in the GOP group I’m in and I get more than I can handle. I listen to Bannon’s War Room and ToreSays. I’ve got several other podcasts queued up but seldom get around too.
Take heart. Based on some of what is happening in California recently there is some hope.
I’m convinced that Orange County didn’t really turn blue. I think election fraud makes it appear that way. I haven’t heard about an election audit effort in the county but based on the Huntington Beach protests, I’m betting one is being sought.
        Stay safe and healthy.

Dang. What did he recently do that wasn’t conservative? Did he support masks or mandatory vaccines? I scan too many headlines and the news cycle changes.
