“Governor Jerry Brown announced he will deploy ‘up to 400 National Guard Troops’ to do nothing.

A state or a country cannot deem itself sovereign if it chooses not to protect its borders.

A concept lost on Brown , most Californians and leftists across the country.

The crime rate in California is high enough, and the Federal Government will not be paying for Governor Brown’s charade,”according to President Trump.

This is one battle “Governor Moonbeam,” will not win.

Cut off the money and Brown will come sniveling like a whipped pup back to the trough to get the money.

California for all intents and purposes is a bankrupt state. (Source)

Think of CA is a patient on life support with no functioning brain cells.

All know the plug must be pulled unless an alternative would be entered into the equation.

That would be a fiscally conservative new governor and getting rid of the California Assembly, a corrupt left-wing body that must be cut out like the cancer it is in order to save the patient.

For his part, Brown prefers to kick the can down the road and stick the incoming governor with his years of fiscal failures.

President Trump accused California Gov. Jerry Brown of conducting a “charade” by agreeing to send National Guard troops to the border with restrictions on their activity and said the federal government won’t foot the bill for Brown’s move.

“Governor Jerry Brown announced he will deploy ‘up to 400 National Guard Troops’ to do nothing.

The crime rate in California is high enough, and the Federal Government will not be paying for Governor Brown’s charade.

We need border security and action, not words!” Trump tweeted.

Brown, a Democrat, announced late Wednesday he would deploy 400 National Guard troops to address issues about immigration.

But the California governor said the members of the California National Guard will not enforce immigration laws or help build Trump’s border wall, and said not all would be sent to the border.

He said the troops could be used to interdict illegal firearm and drug shipments going across the southern border and disrupt transnational criminal gangs, human traffickers, and drug smugglers, among other tasks.

Trump asked four states along the U.S.-Mexico border — California, New Mexico, Arizona, and Texas — to send troops to assist with border issues until Congress passes legislation strengthening border security. In total, the president wants up to 4,000 National Guard troops to help.

California had been negotiating with the Department of Homeland Security about what the mission of the state’s National Guard troops would be.

At the Pentagon, spokeswoman Dana White was asked what it meant when Trump said the federal government will no longer pay for the deployment.

“The Pentagon will continue to support the Department of Homeland Security as they identify their needs and requirements. We are in a support role,” she said. “National Guard troops are under Title 32 and they are under the governors’ command and control. The Department of Defense will stand ready to support DHS.”

Now it's up to President Trump to restore America to prominence. Republicans who refuse to go along with most of his agenda RINOs must be forced to walk the plank, they are RINOs and little else.

One Response to Trump slams Jerry Brown’s National Guard ‘charade,’ says feds won’t pay for it

  1. Rule of Law says:

Jerry Brown has a long history of strange decisions as governor of California. This time is Brown’s third bite at the apple and he has not demonstrated any better judgment he should have gained with experience.

At some point Brown might want to look at the U. S. Constitution and pay attention to the requirement for any and all immigrants to take the OATH to follow the LAW.

The immigration laws are very clear and the one word that Brown appears to be ignoring is ILLEGAL immigrants.

California is broke and the single reason is illegal immigrants . California accounts for over 30% of the welfare and subsistence recipients in America. The problem is a multi-Billion dollar leak in an already busted budget.
