There is something that isn’t sitting right with me on this entire scenario.
Not that Mueller will come up with anything credible to bring down the Trump Administration, but when politicians speak they seem to be incapable of telling the whole truth.
The House Intelligence Committee voted Thursday to approve its final report on Russia’s interference in the 2016, a vote that also marked the end of the committee’s investigation.
“We voted today to end the investigation,” Jack Langer, spokesman for House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes, said.
The final report said lawmakers found no evidence of collusion between Russia and President Trump’s associates.
After over 70 witness interviews and over 300,000 documents collected and reviewed, Chairman Devin Nunes, R-Calif., released a statement saying the report provides recommendations on how to improve election security.
“The report… will be useful in thwarting any attempt by Russia or other foreign power to further meddle in U.S. elections,” Nunes said.
The vote was along party lines, and the GOP-written report will be reviewed by the intelligence community before its release to make sure no classified information is being shared.
