All of the talk about the Hatch Act, seems to be nonsense.
There was likely no bigger violator of the Logan Act (Source) than Jimmy Carter when he was no longer president.
He repeatedly went back and forth to the Middle East in his lame attempt to forge a two-state solution between Israel and Palestine.
He called is program, “Conflict Resolution,” and has finally come to the realization that it will never happen. (Source)
“There is no chance of seeing the two-state solution realized “at this moment,” accusing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of pursuing a one-state solution without equal rights for Palestinians. (Source)
“At this moment, there is zero chance of the two-state solution,” Carter, 90, told Prospect Magazine, in an interview published on Thursday.
The only penalty for violating the Hatch Act, is removal from office, of course in Carter’s place it no longer applies.
If Trey Gowdy is correct, Andrew McCabe will be looking for work very soon.

Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., suggested in an interview that FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe may soon lose his job as scrutiny over the agency intensifies.
McCabe is scheduled to testify Tuesday in front of the House Intelligence Committee on the subject of FBI agent Peter Strzok, who was removed from special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia inquiry team because of text messages that were critical of President Trump during the 2016 campaign.
“I’ll be a little bit surprised if he’s still an employee of the FBI this time next week,” Gowdy, a member of the House Judiciary Committee, said of McCabe in an interview Friday night with Fox News.
Trump and congressional Republicans have accused the FBI of apparent political bias and conflicts of interest after some agents and their associates were revealed to have connections to Democratic politics, including ties to Hillary Clinton.
Republicans charge that the bias has tainted the FBI and Mueller’s investigation into possible ties between the Trump campaign and Russia.Trump in July suggested on Twitter that McCabe should have been fired already.
“Why didn’t A.G. Sessions replace Acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe, a Comey friend who was in charge of Clinton investigation but got big dollars ($700,000) for his wife’s political run from Hillary Clinton and her representatives,” Trump said at the time.
“Drain the Swamp!”
