UPDATE :Trump marks recapture of Raqqa: ‘The end of the ISIS caliphate is in sight’

President Trump celebrated the recapture of the Islamic State’s last major stronghold Saturday as a “critical breakthrough” in the campaign against the terrorist group.

“With the liberation of ISIS’s capital and the vast majority of its territory, the end of the ISIS caliphate is in sight,” the president said in a White House statement.

Our government is living in a parallel universe.

 

This is reminiscent of “Baghdad Bob” in 2003 when Saddam Hussein’s information minister insisted US troops were being defeated even as they were entering Baghdad.

Though he dressed like Hillary in a pants suit, there is no proof as of this writing that he wore Hillary’s underwear.

This guy as their propaganda minister is hysterical.

 

Is it conceivable he actually believed the merde he was slinging?

ISIS is no longer the problem; the Kurds are defeating them, yet the government we are supporting to fill that vacuum is backed by Iran.

It would be the equivalent of supporting the Soviet Union to capture more of Germany after Hitler was gone.

Moreover, the State Department is using the same moral equivalence between the two sides that it did when the PLO attacked the Israelis during the intifada of the last decade — in other words,
an immoral equivalence.

Obama’s mismanagement of Iraq is now moving into its second phase.

His neglect of Iraq turned over Baghdad and the central government into an Iranian Shiite proxy.

That drove the Kurds toward independence and the Sunnis toward ISIS.

Obama allied with Iran’s Shiite puppets in Baghdad to take on ISIS.

 

Obama never knew who the jihadists were except that he was certain they weren’t Islamic.

Meanwhile, the terror bosses in Iran got billions in smuggled money, countless more billions in sanctions relief, and a blank check for its nuclear program.

The tanks and other weapons that America sent to the puppet regime in Baghdad either ended up going to ISIS or the Shiite fighters.

And now the latter are using our weapons and training to attack the Kurds.

The same outrage that was stirred up when the Saudis were bombing Iran’s Shiite puppets in Yemen is notably absent.

And that ought to tell the reader how much influence the Iran Lobby, notably Obama’s Goebbels, Ben Rhodes, still wields over the media.

 

 

NIAC is pure propaganda, spelled bullshit and must have its 501-3c status removed.

Of course being Muslims they achieve this status using nefarious means having a sister front organization that appears to be clean getting them their tax-exempt status. (Source)

 

But if nothing else, this should be a warning to stop arming the terror proxies of Shiite and Sunni Islam.

And that means no more weapons and equipment for Iraq and Lebanon.

If we’re not going to do the right thing, at least let’s not actively arm our enemies.

Without U.S. Backing can the Kurds make this a permanent victory?

The Syrian city of Raqqa has been the chief, and ultimately final, major city that the terrorist group held since they made their rampage across Syria and northern Iraq.

The U.S.-led coalition drove them out of most of Iraq through 2016, culminating in a nine-month battle for Mosul that ended in July. Raqqa’s liberation followed months later, after a siege process that began in November.
