Did reasonable people believe the progressives who currently lead the democrats would prevail?
Of course not, but then again the far-left is not filled with reasonable people.
Indeed they are acting like nutjobs as we knew they are.
They are not only using Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals but are laying on the Cloward and Piven strategy as well.
For those who may have forgotten, Cloward and Piven were both professors at the Columbia University School of Social Work. (Source)
The strategy was formulated in a May 1966 article in the liberal magazine The Nation titled “The Weight of the Poor: A Strategy to End Poverty”
The two stated that many Americans who were eligible for welfare were not receiving benefits and that a welfare enrollment drive would strain local budgets, precipitating a crisis at the state and local levels that would be a wake-up call for the federal government, particularly the Democrat Party.
There would also be side consequences of this strategy, according to Cloward and Piven.
These would include: easing the plight of the poor in the short-term (through their participation in the welfare system); shoring up support for the national Democratic.
That didn’t work so well, did it?
Alinsky is considered the modern day equivalent of the Communist Party in the United States.
Inspired by Saul Alinsky’s book, “Rules for Radicals” and how it has become the ‘liberal primer’ for the now flaming socialist Democrat Party.

Take for example the left’s failed attempt to block President Trumps cabinet members as well as those he desires to have working on his team.
The attempt by the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and others to block his appointment of Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court.
They are still complaining that Merrick Garland should have been Obama’s pick for the Supreme Court.
Did they seriously believe with a majority in the Senate that boat would float?
They will continue this nonsense until polling data indicates they are having a negative effect on the upcoming elections, which they are.
President Trump and America will prevail as the leadership of the far-left is too ignorant to tie it’s own shoes or get out of its own way.
