Welcome to the new United States of America: No winners or losers

Super Bowl 51 between the Patriots and Falcons promised two things based on Vegas odd smakers’ projections: a close game, per the three-point spread in New England’s favor, and points, per the over/under point total of 59, a Super Bowl record.

It delivered on those promises.

If the leftist losers prevail in court, there will no longer be winners and losers in sporting events.

They believe this to be a good idea so no participants feelings will be hurt.

New England, which pulled off the biggest comeback in Super Bowl history and its biggest in franchise history, won its fifth Super Bowl championship of the legendary Tom Brady-Bill Belichick era, 34-28, in the first overtime game in Super Bowl history.

SN NFL writers David Steele, Vinnie Iyer and Alex Marvez all predicted a New England victory in Super Bowl 51. That was bad news to the majority of the country, which based on who-do-you-want-to-win poll results wanted Atlanta to interrupt its opponent’s dynasty. The Patriots fatigue was real.

Now it’ll only get worse as the Patriots spend the next year as defending champions yet again.

Sporting News provided live Patriots-Falcons updates during Sunday’s Super Bowl. Here’s how it went down.
