With his run as the Bull Moose Candidate, Roosevelt a Republican, (Source) split the ticket and lost a warning shot to Republicans contemplating this process today to neutralize Donald Trump.
Roosevelt lost to the worst progressive of the time, Woodrow Wilson, who brought us the Federal Income Tax and the Federal Reserve.
Of course he was eventually replaced by the progressive Marxist, Barrack Hussein Obama.

To become an American and American citizen one must take an oath to the Constitution.
The same is true as to being a Official of America – the OATH is a requirement.
The corruption in our current government is out of control. TRUMP is running on a very basic platform – stop corruption in government.

The Progressive (statist/socialist) label has been slapped on to TR by Glenn Beck, who (disappointingly) has turned himself into a whining cry-baby in the past few months. Roosevelt, born to great Wall Street wealth, was considered a class traitor by his unceasing attacks on Crony Capitalism and pushing his Free Market philosophy.
He was also a fervent nationalist of a type that’s anathema to the socialist internationalists (whom he incessantly damned).
